APEGBC has developed a new CPD Recording Centre which has been made available to members since early January. The new Recording Centre will allow members to record and classify CPD activities into the six eligible categories of the new CPD Guideline: Professional Practice, Formal, Informal, Participation, Presentations and Contributions to Knowledge. Data from the previous recording centre will be imported to the new recording centre in January. |
Welcome to the APEGBC CPD On-line Recording Centre. The recording centre has been designed to reflect APEGBC’s Continuing Professional Development Guideline.
The CPD Recording Centre provides members with a convenient, online, and secure place to track their professional development hours (PDHs). Specifically, it:
Allows members to record and classify CPD activities into the six eligible categories:
- Professional Practice
- Formal
- Informal
- Participation
- Presentations
- Contributions to Knowledge
Allows earned professional development hours (PDHs) to be claimed in the year earned or carried forward to future reporting years.
Assists by tracking the limits associated with the amount of professional development hours (PDHs) a member may claim, per category, per calendar year - displaying the remaining available hours left to be claimed when entering CPD activity.
Automatically tracks professional development hours (PDHs) accrued by members for taking APEGBC seminars. Completed APEGBC seminars will automatically appear in the member's CPD Recording Centre- thereby reducing data entry and making it easier to track professional development activities.
Additionally, allows members to manage their activities by providing functions to report on and export activities. Exports are in MS Excel format, allowing members to easily modify the data to meet reporting requirements of other jurisdictions and professional bodies.
Use of the CPD Recording Centre is voluntary.
