Nominations for the 2012 APEGBC President's Awards are now being accepted.
A complete nomination package must include:
- Completed nomination form;
- Letter of Nomination. This is a brief statement (two page maximum) describing why the nominee should receive the award;
- An abbreviated Résumé/Curriculum Vitae;
- Other supporting material (testimonials, news clippings, etc.) if available.
Please ensure that the nomination form and package are complete before forwarding to the Standing Awards Committee. Nominating packages must not exceed 15 pages.
It is essential that detailed supporting evidence of a nominee's eligibility for an award and CV be provided along with the Letter of Nomination outlining why the nominee should receive the award.
If newspaper or magazine clippings are available, they should be included as supporting data.
The Awards Committee will review all nominations, and make recommendations to APEGBC Council regarding the recipients of the awards. At its discretion, the Awards Committee may also carry forward nominations from the previous year.At the discretion of the Awards Committee, one or more of the awards may not necessarily be awarded each year.
All correspondence will be conducted between the Awards Committee and the first nominator on the nomination form.
The Awards Committee would prefer that a nomination not be revealed to a candidate before its consideration by Council. Nominators are encouraged to attend the APEGBC President's Awards Dinner.
