APEGBC Benevolent Fund Society

The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC Benevolent Fund Society is a registered charity under the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency devoted to assisting members in financial distress to overcome short-term cash-flow difficulties. Assistance is administered on a case by case basis by a Board of Directors comprised of past Association Presidents and operates completely at arms-length from the Association.

Applications for Assistance

Applications for assistance can be made by forwarding a completed Benevolent Fund Application Form, a brief one-page cover letter detailing your circumstances, and a copy of your most recent resume to tverigin@apeg.bc.ca at the Association office. Please ensure “Benevolent Fund Application” appears in the subject line of your email. Or you may send by mail to:

Deferral of Annual Fees

Applications for deferral of annual fees for one year can be made by completing the Application for Deferral or Waiver of Annual Fees and sending an email, with a brief one-page cover letter detailing your circumstances and a copy of your most recent resume to gpichler@apeg.bc.ca at the Association office. The confidentiality of all applications is strictly maintained.

Donations to the APEGBC Benevolent Fund Society

Donations to the Fund are tax deductible under CCRA regulations. Donations are welcomed and can be made
