The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC Benevolent Fund Society is a registered charity under the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency devoted to assisting members in financial distress to overcome short-term cash-flow difficulties. Assistance is administered on a case by case basis by a Board of Directors comprised of past Association Presidents and operates completely at arms-length from the Association.

Applications for assistance can be made by forwarding a completed Benevolent Fund Application Form, a brief one-page cover letter detailing your circumstances, and a copy of your most recent resume to tverigin@apeg.bc.ca at the Association office. Please ensure “Benevolent Fund Application” appears in the subject line of your email. Or you may send by mail to:

Applications for deferral of annual fees for one year can be made by completing the Application for Deferral or Waiver of Annual Fees and sending an email, with a brief one-page cover letter detailing your circumstances and a copy of your most recent resume to gpichler@apeg.bc.ca at the Association office.
The confidentiality of all applications is strictly maintained.
Donations to the Fund are tax deductible under CCRA regulations. Donations are welcomed and can be made
