Foundation

The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Foundation is a registered charity that promotes education in engineering and geoscience through the granting of bursaries and scholarships. The Foundation is administered by a Board of Trustees and operates at arms-length from the Association. It encourages the involvement of external donors and partners, including Branches, in establishing and funding other bursaries and scholarships.

The APEGBC Foundation was chartered in 1994 to provide scholarships and bursaries to students in engineering and geoscience. Since its inception, members and firms have generously donated, which has enabled the Foundation to expand the number and value of undergraduate scholarship programs through awards and grants
